Situated in the Yarrow River Valley, we have a steady water supply of 10 million gallons per day from St. Mary’s Loch and the Megget Reservoir. Given the rural nature of the site, there is little industry upstream, this ensures that our water supply is fresh and unpolluted. Furthermore, we filter all water which enters the farm to 30 microns, removing debris, algae and parasites. This allows us to provide an ideal environment for the trout to grow. All of our ponds are natural earth ponds and provide the trout with a very free-range experience. This provides the trout with a spacious environment in which to grow and thrive.
